Post 85 in Huntington supporting their community!

The Huntington Township Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce and sincerely thank the members of American Legion Post #85, located at 1410 South Jefferson Street, for their incredibly generous donation of $10,000.

This contribution reflects the Legion’s continued commitment to supporting not only our veterans but also our local first responders and strengthening the safety of our community.

Donations like this directly impact our ability to serve, helping fund essential equipment, training, and resources that allow our firefighters to respond effectively and safely to emergencies.
Their generosity helps ensure that our firefighters have the tools and training needed to protect the residents of Huntington Township.

The Huntington Township Volunteer Fire Department relies on the support of community partners like American Legion Post #85 to maintain a high level of service. This donation will play a vital role in enhancing our capabilities and continuing our mission of protecting lives and property.

On behalf of all our members, we extend our deepest appreciation to American Legion Post #85 for their dedication to our department and the community we proudly serve.

Due to an oversight on the City of Alexandria, our reservation for the Emory Lee Building did not get on the calendar and they have double booked it. The Eagles Aerie 1771 has graciously made their bingo hall available to us. The meeting and dinner will be at 217 W Cleveland St,
Alexandria, IN 46001, which is on the corner of State Road 28 and State Road 9. Bingo hall entrance is on the south end of the building across from the Norwood Bowling alley.
