Pack 5 gained valuable skills in fire-building and safety, savored the delight of s'mores afterwards, and this past Saturday helped change the flags at Wildwood Cemetery for our heroes who are buried there. As Always we’re looking for new cub scouts.

The scouts have been diligently involved in numerous activities over the past year, despite the gap since our last post. Notably, they recently visited the park to revel in the spring atmosphere and also completed a nature-based scavenger hunt the week prior, alongside other engaging events like pinewood derby competitions and festive gatherings. During this holiday season, the scouts of Pack 5 held their annual Christmas party, which included a visit from Santa Claus. As a gift, Santa provided each scout with a Pinewood derby set to prepare them for the upcoming competition. Additionally, the scouts recently visited a local nursing home, where they entertained residents with classic holiday carols. If you're interested in joining our pack, our next meeting is scheduled for January 6; please refer to the attached photo for details.
