Welcome to the Staten Island Gown Gemach! Roughly 20% of our gowns are now featured in the albums on this page. We hope to continuously update these albums until photos of all of our gowns are available for viewing online. The gowns are organized in albums by color, and within each album by size. Please note that most of our gowns are custom-made, and therefore the sizes listed here are a
pproximate. Accordingly, it may be a good idea to browse gowns that are 1-2 sizes smaller or larger than your own. If you will be coming to the gemach to try on a specific gown, please make sure to note the gown's number. CONTACT US
Email us at [email protected] with questions or to set up an appointment. Make sure to include your phone number so that we have a way of calling you back. FAQs
Gowns are available for borrowing free of charge. A donation to the Lev Yael Bikkur Cholim is suggested and appreciated. All gowns must be dry-cleaned before being returned. Gowns may be altered with the permission of the Gemach manager, so long as no material is cut, and stitches will not ruin the fabric. If you donate or borrow a gown, we would be grateful for a picture of you in that gown (via private message, email or post) so that we can add it to our growing portfolio. VOLUNTEERS
