Younglives Spring Tea 2018 LIKING this page is NOT a RSVP, just a way to show support to the ministry. The program is called YoungLives.

It works by matching up an older Christian woman with a teen mom for a mentoring relationship. The mentor meets with her girl at least once a week, and the minimum commitment is for a year. Usually this relationship develops into much more than once a week; it becomes a long-term relationship. We also plan a once a month “Club” where the mentors and teen moms all come together for a time of fun. I

t includes skits, crafts, games, food, childcare and message about God’s love for them. YoungLives works because the Mentor is helping to meet the teen mom’s needs; physical, emotional and spiritual. She is fulfilling a role that many teen moms lack – that of a caring adult who wants to invest in their lives. The Mentor is not just affecting the teen mom’s life, but also the next generation in their child.
