What is the story behind the group?
ما القصة وراء إنشاء المجموعة؟
بدأنا كمجموعة من طلبة الفرقة الثالثة طب القصرالعينى جامعة القاهرة.. بعد نزولنا المستشفى لاول مرة و رؤيتنا لحالة المرضى و مدى احتياج المستشفى الى موارد .. اردنا ان يكون لنا دور فى تحسين الخدمة التى تقدم فى المستشفى عن طريق تطوعنا و استغلال الموارد البشريه الهائلة الموجودة في الكلية و هى الطلبة و بالتالى تنمية مجتمعنا من الناحية الخ
اصة بنا و اكثرشئ نبرع فيه و هو
الطب و الخدمة العلاجية
و نظرا لاننا نقضى 7 سنين من شبابنا فى الكلية اردنا ان لا نتركها قبل ان نساهم فى ان نخطوا خطوة للامام.
كان و لازال هدفنا الاول و الاخير هو الوصول الى برنامج تطوعى كامل متكامل معتمد على الطلبة يمكن تطبيقه على كافة مستشفيات الجامعة و المستشفيات الحكومية لرفع مستوى الخدمة الطبية و الوعى الصحى لدى البسطاء من المجتمع الذين لا يوجد في وسعهم سوي الاعتماد على الخدمات الحكومية الغير كافية لسد احتياجاتهم الصحية . What makes the group unique?
ما الذي يميز المجموعة عن باقي المجموعات المهتمة بالعمل التطوعي؟
Instead of focusing on fundraising to solve the hospital's problems and enhance the service delivered by the patient
We focused on the manpower (dedicated medical students) who are willing to help
And on the long run we are willing to apply this system on the rest of our university's hospitals and make use of the vast number of students at the university.
*Being medical students, we have the basic knowledge which makes us more qualified for that job than any other,
*On our journey as volunteering students, we get to deal in a closer way with patients and get to know the real story behind each and every one of them. This results in a generation of doctors that looks at patients as human beings and not just cases; and follow medical ethics in a broader and more understanding manner. so this makes us help the patients to get better services and the doctors to become better doctors. What specific accomplishment have the group achieved that is truly remarkable?
ما هو أهم إنجاز قامت به المجموعة؟
اصبحنا جزء مهم من منظومة العمل فى العيادات اليومية فى المستشفى, حيث اصبحت اكثر نظاما و اقل تعقيدا. و حدث تطور كبير ظهر مردوده على المرضى المتواجدين, بحيث اصبح المريض اكثر فهما لحالته الصحيه و ما يتوجب عليه فعله .. و اختفت حالة الحيرة و اصبح هناك دائما من يستطيع المريض اللجوء اليه: حيث يتوجه مباشرة لواحد من اعضاع الفريق فى المستشفى لحل اى مشكلة تقابله.
الفرق اللى بيعمله تواجدنا فى المستشفى كل يوم هو اكبر انجاز و
المساعدة التى نقدمها للمرضى سواء كانت :
*معنوية
*او مادية فى شكل توفير دواء او تحاليل و اشعة و اختبارات
*او تبسيط معلومة و محاولة فى اننا نرشدهم لاحسن خطوة ياخدوها فى الوقت الحالى لانقاذ حالة المريض فى اسرع وقت
*او انقاذ الحالات الطارئة بمساعدتنا لهم فى تخطى الروتين الذى يؤخرهم فى تلقى الخدمة العلاجية المطلوبة فى اسرع وقت
*فى حالة عدم توافر مكان لحجز الطفل فى حضانة فى المستشفى, نساعد الاهل فى البحث عن مكان فى حضانة اخرى بالمجان. What impact have their work had on others?
ما مدى تأثير أنشطة المجموعة على الأخرين؟
On the other students:
whenever we ask for extra help with our events, they are always ready and excited to help. They appreciate what we are doing,and they changed the way they deal with patients in need. And whenever they bump into a patient with a question, they take from their time to answer their question and guide them around, even if the student is short on time. During the past year a lot of our fellow colleagues were encouraged to start their own project or even plan a certain charity event. when they know a needy patient they head to one of our members knowing that we will be able to help them. The Doctors working at the hospital:
As soon as they started to understand what we are doing and appreciate the difference we are making they started to help us around and some times refer patients to us or ask for our help with a certain case. On the nurses and workers:
They started to treat the patients in a nicer way. some of them stand with us and help us in their free time. They co-operate with us and help us skip any unwanted routine in cases of emergency. On the hospital's managers:
They are planning to implement a new patient awareness and education program, and they are going to co-operate with us in planning these programs, and depend on us in applying the program and educating the patients.
