Some people might say you can't change the world but tell that to this Bee!
A year ago, these plant beds in Washington Square were full of grass and weeds. They weren't providing much for our local wildlife.
Today, we stewarded the existing native plants and planted some more. Thank you to all of the friends and neighbors who showed up to help us keep these beds beautiful AND resourceful for our non-human neighbors.
A special thank you to for providing delicious nourishment for us while we worked.
If you're interested in volunteering at our next maintenance day, please email Helen at [email protected]
