Reminder to submit your designs for the community mural! Deadline is March 20!

CALL TO ARTISTS: You are invited to submit a design for a new Community Mural to be painted by Vinton community members on four 8 x 4 ACM panels during the spring/summer of 2026.

Designs should be inspired by the theme, “Vinton Community Life – Past and Present”

A VGFA committee will review the design proposals, select up to three designs to be posted in the newspapers, and the public will then be invited to vote for the mural design they most would like to see completed and installed in Vinton.

Upon selection, the artist will then draw the design on the ACM panels and oversee community members painting the mural. All supplies and a $1,000 stipend will be provided to the artist.

Deadline is March 20, 2026.

All proposals must follow the Requirements provided at vintonart.com/mural2026
