Monday Motivation: It's easy to believe that the loudest voices represent the majority. But they do not! Every day, millions of people quietly choose kindness.
They hold the door. They help a neighbor. They comfort a friend. They welcome someone new. They forgive. They volunteer. They reach across differences instead of building walls.

These moments don't make headlines.
Yet they are the threads that hold our communities together. This week, don't underestimate the power of being one of those people.

Monday Motivation: Every week gives us a fresh chance to shape the kind of world we want to live in through the small, everyday choices we make.

We may not all share the same backgrounds, beliefs, or life experiences. But every one of us wants to be seen, respected, and treated with dignity. That's a place we can all begin.

This week, be the person who smiles first. Who offers encouragement. Who chooses compassion when it's easier to judge. Who reminds someone else that they matter.

Let's make this a week that leaves the world just a little better than we found it.
Because when we stand with one another, we all stand stronger.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery and celebrates freedom, resilience, culture, and hope.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom delayed is freedom denied, and that the journey toward justice has often been long, difficult, and unfinished. It is a day to reflect on our history, recognize the contributions and strength of Black Americans, and recommit ourselves to building a society where dignity, opportunity, and belonging are available to everyone.

The WSU community believes that our differences do not diminish us — they enrich us. When we stand with and for one another across race, religion, nationality, identity, ability, and background, we help create the kind of world where everyone has the chance to thrive.

Today, we celebrate freedom. We honor those who came before us. And we continue moving forward together — choosing understanding over division, compassion over indifference, and love over fear...and hate.

Because none of us are truly free until all of us are free.
