Thanks to Alistair and Judy for leading a great session yesterday on Archaeological Drawing. The Young Archaeologists had a go at offset planning of the conservatory at Maeshowe visitor centre. They also tested out their artefact observation skills by drawing tatties! Their drawings were so accurate that Leader Ellen could identify the potatoes just from the drawings!

This weekend we met up at Maeshowe visitor centre, with thanks to Cat and Phil from Historic Environment Scotland for hosting. The focus of our session was the incredible archaeology just up the road at Friends of the Ness of Brodgar Thanks to all for coming and see you in February!
