Warm hearts, cold weather.

It was indeed very cold on Mt. Pulag, but we were greeted with immense warmth and hospitality from the entire community. We are also deeply grateful for the burning passion shown by our volunteers in piloting a more efficient Project ID process flow for our future work.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the following:

👩‍🏫The faculty and staff of Mt. Pulag Elementary School and the neighboring schools of Abucot, Lebeng, Line 10, Lusod, and Awing for coordinating the event, preparing the students, and keeping the volunteers well-fed.

🏡 The Baban family (Mt. Pulag Summit VIEW- Baban's Homestay) for accommodating and feeding our team.

🚐 Our drivers, Austin, Allan, and Jamyr, for ensuring we returned home safely to our families.

♻️Ms. Rhoda Tayag for her special participation and for sharing her knowledge on eco-literacy with the teachers of Mt. Pulag ES.

!!CALL FOR DONATIONS!!

This September 18–20, Juan Portrait is journeying back to the highest elementary school in the Philippines — Mt. Pulag Elementary School — for this year's Project ID!

And this time, we're going even further. Beyond Mt. Pulag ES, we'll be reaching out to 5 neighboring schools across the vicinity, making sure no student or teacher gets left behind.

Together, we'll be providing 600+ official IDs to the students and teachers of these mountain communities — giving each of them not just a card, but a sense of identity, belonging, and pride.

Every ID tells a story. This September, we get to help write 600 of them. 💛

Hello mga ate at kuya!

This coming August 7-9, Juan Portrait is heading back to one of our beloved partner communities in the north—Pactil Elementary School—for this year’s Project ID!

We will be helping provide over 130 official IDs for the students and teachers of the community.

Beyond the portraits, we are also organizing dedicated empowerment workshops for the teachers and fun, interactive storytelling sessions for the students.

🎁🎁 Call for Donations 🎁🎁

Kumusta mga ate at kuya, nawa ay nasa mabuti kayong kalagayan.

Sa darating na Enero 3-4, 2026, magbabalik ang Juan Portrait sa isa sa ating mga partner communities sa Pactil, Bauko, Mt. Province para sa Panagawid - Pasko sa Pactil. Matatandaang huli nating nabisita ang komunidad noon pang Enero ng 2020.

Magsasagawa ng ilang mga proyekto ang JP volunteers, kasama na rito ang Community Frames at Family Portraits kasabay ng ilan pang gawain para sa mga mag-aaral at residente ng Pactil.

Sa mga nais magbigay ng donasyon, be it in kind or monetary mangyari lamang pong ipagbigay alam sa aming social media channels o makipagugnayan kila Kuya Mikki Luistro at Ate JL Canda

Maaring magbahagi ng donasyon gamit ang QR code (BPI/InstaPay) na kalakip ng post na ito.
