Childhood obesity is a critical public health crisis in Grenada and the Caribbean, with prevalence rates that often exceed global averages. The region is facing an "obesity tsunami" that threatens to overwhelm healthcare systems with long-term, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes and hypertension.

We discuss how the Rotary Club of Grenada is helping to tackle this critical public health challenge.

What an incredible achievement for the Rotary Club of Grenada! 💙💛

Our 2nd Annual Health Fair 2026 was a true reflection of what happens when community, compassion, and service come together with purpose. What started as an initiative to support healthier lives continues to grow each year, and we are so proud of the impact this year’s event had.

From screenings and health education to referrals and wellness support, we were able to touch the lives of so many — and this is only the beginning. We hope this initiative continues to expand each year, reaching and benefiting even more people within our communities. 🌿
