We picked up this little girl today from Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC).
Ruby is around 2 years old and is great with other dogs. She will be available for adoption soon.

We pulled this adorable little senior this afternoon from Animal Care Centers of NYC and he could not be any sweeter. Upon his release from the shelter he came with us to a Mexican restaurant where he slept without caring about all the noise.

Tomorrow he goes to his forever home, to a lady of a certain age that no one would adopt to! But you know what? She has a plan if anything ever happens to her (of course we would take Tiny back) but her niece will care for him. Whether you are 23 or 83, you should have a plan for your pets, and we always ask.

Tiny is going to someone who is going to love him unconditionally and he will be spoiled rotten for the remainder of his senior years and we cannot be happier.

Help! Sprout needs a new foster or adopter.

We’re at a loss as to why no one has put in an application for sprout. He is. The biggest goofball and even though he’s 95 pounds, he acts like he’s 10 pounds. We think he might be part Swiss Mountain Dog.

Sprout is currently in (foster) with a very patient woman who has three Chihuahuas, but the Chihuahuas have made it be known that he’s not welcome there😛. He is good with other dogs, but given the size difference, he is just a little overwhelming for the little guys. We desperately need to find him a new foster family, and if you can help with this, please shoot us an email at [email protected] or call us at 914-779-0334.

Our hearts are broken today. We were with Jennifer from The Good Life Dog Rescue when we met this little guy, who was the sweetest boy ever, and we drove into the city to pick him up; Jennifer could have waited for transport but wanted to get him out of the shelter ASAP. Sadly, his little body gave out too soon but at least his last night was in a warm, loving home. Rest easy Bruce.

Animal Care Centers of NYC has facilitated Lovey Dovey's (Dove) freedom ride today. We are so grateful to the staff for their support, they truly are wonderful. Dove will be available for adoption soon. Interested adopters can submit applications in the meantime. Don’t let this photo fool you, she is tiny, weighing in at only 14lbs, and she is around one and a half years old.
