New Politics

New Politics New Politics recruits, develops, and helps elect servant leaders.

We support veterans, AmeriCorps alumni, returned Peace Corps volunteers, and community leaders as they bring their commitment to service into politics.

Luke Bronin served his country as a Navy intelligence officer and his city as Mayor of Hartford. Now he’s taking that same service ethic to Congress, and after upsetting a 14-term incumbent to win the Democratic endorsement, he’s just getting started.

We need courageous leaders who understand that passing the torch is how movements grow.

That’s what New Politics has always believed. It’s why we recruit and support veterans and servant leaders to run for office. And it’s why we’re proud to stand with Luke Bronin in CT-01.

The quiet professional.

It’s the mantra of special operations. Don’t pound your chest, do the work and put the team ahead of yourself.

And that mission-first mindset is exactly what service builds. Jason Crow learned it as an Army Ranger, and he carried that lesson in leadership straight to Congress.

It’s a sharp contrast with Donald Trump, who needs monuments to project his strength. As Crow puts it, “it’s what weak and fragile people do.”

Leaders who’ve served don’t have to prove how strong they are.

Quiet strength. Selfless service. That’s the kind of leader we’re proud to back.

IT’S OFFICIAL: Sarah Trone Garriott is the Democratic nominee in IA-03!

Her journey from AmeriCorps alum to minister, nonprofit leader, and state legislator is a testament to her unwavering commitment to public service and the people of Iowa. That record stands in stark contrast to vulnerable GOP incumbent Rep. Zach Nunn.

The House majority runs through servant leaders like Sarah. She will flip in November.

BIG WIN: Rebecca Bennett secures the Democratic nomination for NJ-07!

A former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and experimental test pilot, Rebecca has spent her life leading when the stakes were highest. Now she heads into the general election well-positioned to defeat absentee Rep. Tom Kean Jr.

NJ-07 is one of the most consequential races on the map this cycle, and Rebecca is exactly the kind of candidate who can flip this seat.

At New Politics, we’re committed to building a more representative democracy — one service-driven leader at a time.

MOULMENTUM: Seth Moulton has secured his spot on the Massachusetts U.S. Senate primary ballot with 27% of the delegate vote and will challenge Ed Markey this September.

“This is not a time to talk about incremental change or to look at the midterms as just a chance to barely scrape by and win back the House. This is a time for Democrats to go big, to start anew, and to lead with courage.”

The movement is surging. The next generation of servant leaders is rising.

Ken Paxton’s nicknames won’t lower your grocery bill. 🧾

They won’t lower your gas prices or prescription drug costs either, and Texans are done with it.

James Talarico is right: there’s a growing hunger for servant leaders who run to make life better for their community — not to enrich themselves and their mega-donors.

New Politics recruits and elects servant leaders who’ve already proven they’ll put community and country over party: veterans, AmeriCorps alumni, returned Peace Corps volunteers, teachers, healthcare workers, and social workers. Leaders like James.

Texas deserves that kind of leader. So does your community. If you’ve served and you’re ready to run 👉 newpolitics.org
