Ginninderra Toastmasters Toastmasters learn to improve communication and leadership skills from their peers through evaluation and practice in a friendly, fun environment.

Come and observe a Ginninderra Toastmasters meeting to see what it's all about, or jump in and have a go! Ginninderra Club is part of a not for profit organisaton that serves the immediate suburbs of Aranda, Cook, Macquarie, Bruce and the wider community of North Canberra. We are interested in learning better public speaking, listening and leadership skills. These skills are all learnt skills. Mem

bers receive evaluation from peers and and with lots of practice improve in a friendly, fun environment. Basic educational and leadership manuals are provided on joining. Then, after we grasp the basics we move on to more advanced manuals. (Choice of 15 topics)
Toastmasters are often curious people, who love to learn but don't take themselves too seriously. At each meeting you will get the opportunity to:

Take part in Table Topics (Impromptu Speaking 1-2 minutes)
Present a prepared speech (Manual provided)
Present an educational training session
Take on a leadership meeting role (Manual provided)
Receive/give constructive evaluations (This is how we learn)

Visitors are most welcome to attend meetings as an observer, or jump right in and have a go.
