Students of AMF at GSU AMF was founded by David Fajgenbaum and Benjamin Chesson in 2006. We also use "AMF" to describe ourselves as "Actively Moving Forward."

Students of AMF at GSU aims to support college students who are grieving the illness or death of a loved one through peer-led grief support groups and community service groups. Students of AMF is a chapter of National Students of AMF, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one. The name of the group, "AMF," honors "Anne Marie Faj

genbaum," whose life inspired her college-aged son, David, to start a national organization in her memory. There are now 44 chapters of Students of AMF nationwide.
