Huey P. Newton Gun Club Alabama Chapter We do so humbly, patiently, and without ego. We want immediate end to police brutality and the murder of black and brown.
2. The Huey P. Black is beautiful!!

Political Framework
Written by The Founding Dallas Council
Our organization, the Huey P Newton Gun Club, is the latest attempt to resurrect the minds of black people
within the borders of the United States of America. At this point in
history we realize that Black people in the western hemisphere have always promoted armed self-defense first
with rebellions on slave ships and most notably with the

Haitian Revolution that began in 1791. In the spirit of the
Maroon societies throughout the Americas, that worked towards liberation of our people and the various
insurrections that we are aware of and also unaware of, we formed the Huey P Newton Gun Club. We invoke
ancestor Dr. Huey Newton because since his murder in 1989 in Oakland, California there has been an attempt to
massacre and defame his legacy. Using Huey’s name is logical to us based on this point in history where black
men and women are murdered wholesale by various police agencies around the United States. We strive with you
to STOP these atrocities that effect our community, and are elated you desired to work with us to put in place a
defense component with eventual offensive capabilities. We founded this organization on three “simple” points, it
must be understood we do not want to reinvent a long drawn out platform or process.

1. We want to cease black on black violence and self-hatred.
3. We want to arm every black men and woman throughout the
United States, which has been the greatest fear of
the establishment. In the city of Dallas not unlike any other city across America there is an issue with “police terrorism”. The term
terrorism is used because of the systematic murders of unarmed defenseless black, brown, and poor people
without regard for life. Since 2001-2012 according to open records request done by “Dallas Communities
Organizing for Change” there were 40 or more that lost their lives with no discretion from Dallas Police officers. Clinton Allen had been the most known locally murder of an unarmed individual being shot 7 times by Marine
Corps Veteran and Dallas Police Officer Clark Staller #9514 on March 10th, 2010. These conditions help spur the
creation of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club as our first public “patrol” on August 20th, 2014. We promoted armed
self-defense from blatant racist black and white racist cops. Dallas police Chief David Brown response was to
have a SWAT team on standby encouraging a violent standoff. Our mission was simply to educate the masses of
black people in Dallas of their right to bear arms as mentioned in 2nd amendment the Constitution of the United
States and also Article 1 of the Texas Constitution. What we found is largely a community that desires to be
educated about arms. People that have experience with weapons desire an organization to be a part of. These two
types of people now have a platform within The Huey P. Newton Gun Club to fulfill these desires. You and I have
a duty to educate as many as we can about the proper usage of weapons, and also our political right to take a
defensive stance towards the status quo that has committed the greatest act of terrorism against indigenous people
world-wide. Redirecting and ceasing self-hatred, which is often diagnosed as black on black violence, is a part of our program. Too many of us have fallen as a result of being colonized in America and without thought have killed one another. We the Huey P Newton Gun Club accept the responsibility to intervene as often as we can and strive to convert
these elements of our community into soldiers for the cause to uplifting the community. We feel that properly
educating young men and women about weapons and anger can prevent careless acts from occurring. Additionally, by doing educational seminars such as camping, hunting, and mentorship programs shown results
have shown positive results with the youth. In essence we take responsibility for the growth and development for
our community which is an element to our nationalist ideals. We understand and know we will not win every
person over to our methods and practices, however we accept we must walk this difficult path towards eventual
armed struggle. Pivotal to our organizational foundation is the promoting of black men and women to bear and possess arms, to
train and develop survival skills. Newton Gun Club intends on taking full advantage of promoting to
the general black community their rights to exercise this point freely. We feel passionate about this position,
because to us there is no theory above the practice of arming our community for self-defense. We do not simply
just want to be “militant” but rather develop over time to a regimented Black Army. A Black Army that will
prevent and deter incidents like Sandra Bland, Mike Brown, or the Tulsa 1921 bombing from ever occurring
again. We believe in freedom and our right as a nation within a nation to
determine the political will and destiny of our people. It should be
embarrassing to be colonized and we intend to change the course of our current
condition and better the lives of those we serve. We are servants above
anything else and more than militants we employ the revolutionary ideals of
nationalism. Nationalism will only organize the talents that we currently
possess as a people and aid our function as a nation. The beginning of this
tasks is to arm the body and minds of black people in America in which the
Huey P. Newton Gun Club intends to be a part of. In conclusion we want immediate end to police brutality and the murder of black people by those that perpetuate capitalism and white supremacy. We
realize that our efforts must also be directed internally, which means we must love ourselves and treat each other the way we would like to be treated. The ultimate goal is to unify mentally as well as politically the
Afrikan mind worldwide and call for a Pan Afrikanist solution. With this in
mind we have a political right to agitate for our own political freedom and
journey for liberation.
