1. Membership dues of $25.00 per year are currently being collected. Please pay any outstanding 2026 dues. It was suggested that paid dues be listed on the meeting minutes.
2. The bridge naming committee is working on the next six bridges. They will be named after Revolutionary War Veterans.
3. Elementary Needs (Larry Cadwell) - No update
4. Rolling Prairie Beautification (Rose Lenig) - Rose is withdrawing as the chair. She sent a letter out to all local businesses.
5. Rolling Prairie Christmas (Rachel Young) - No updates
6. Safety and Homeland Security (Carol Lode) - No updates
7. Sewer Update (www.laportecountyrsd.org) The sewer project is approximately 90% complete of the 1st stage. The goal is to finish by year end.

1. Anam Cara (Stacey Garcelon) - No updates - Non-profit Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Location 4298 East 1000 North LaPorte, IN. Herd Meditation- Immerse yourself in the healing energy of horses.
2. Boys and Girls Club (Heidi Chalik) - No updates- Boys and Girls Clubs of La Porte County, a local nonprofit serving children across four school districts. New Prairie’s club meets at Prairie View Elementary.

4. Food Pantry (Sue Hartwick/Rose Lenig) - If the Pantry is closed, you can drop off donations at the Rolling Prairie Post Office. The Pantry serves Galena, Hudson, Kankakee, and Wills Township. It is open on Thursdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

6. Journey Church (Nick Bello) - No updates - Services are at 9:00 am and 10:30 am on Sundays.

8. Lincoln Highway (Carol Lode) - No update 2026 Lincoln Highway Conference is June 22-26 in York PA.

10. La Porte County Public Library (Fonda Owens/Jenny Monhaut) - The library is excited to roll out a new structured programming schedule. Rolling schedule is as follows: 1st Mondays (Book Club 10 am), 2nd Tuesdays (Creative Kids 4 pm), 2nd Saturdays (STEAM Saturday 10 am), 3rd Tuesday (Crafternoon 12 pm-6 pm), 3rd Thursdays (Tech Help 12 pm -6 pm), 4th Mondays (Maker Monday 4 pm). Kids can sign up for Summer reading online or at all locations. Incentives for children to read over the summer. Adults can participate as well this year.

12. LaPorte County Soil and Water Conservation District (Don Lode) - They will be at the LaPorte County Fair. Legislative Breakfast is on Wednesday during the fair.

14. The Lions Club (Ed King) - No updates - The Lions Club meets on the last Wednesday of each month at the Methodist Church. They are always looking for new members.
