We are a nonprofit Veteran & Family Resource organization, providing a variety of services and connections to Veterans and their families.

www.QualifiedListeners.org Combat Veterans and other caring people trained to Listen to Veterans and Families. From these conversations we determine how we can best assist them in finding more peace. It may be accessing more resources, it may be get snow removed, it may be connecting to a Veteran Service Officer, it may be arranging a funeral detail, we never know. We spend time with the person and help them.

The entire QL staff would like to celebrate 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡, our longtime Veteran & Family Coordinator, as she begins her well-earned retirement. Carolyn's dedication, compassion, and advocacy have touched countless veterans and families, leaving a lasting legacy within our organization and community.

As part of our transition planning, we have made the decision not to refill Carolyn's position and instead adjust our office schedule to three days per week to help ensure the long-term sustainability of our services. Please join us in thanking Carolyn for her years of service and wishing her the very best in her next chapter.🎉

As we look ahead to the future, QL is making thoughtful adjustments to strengthen and sustain our mission for years to come. When one veteran's vehicle became unsafe and unreliable, our Veteran Relief Fund covered the cost of essential repairs, allowing him to safely get to work, medical appointments, and meet his daily responsibilities once again.

A veteran was days away from having his water shut off.
Thanks to support from our Veteran Relief Fund, Qualified Listeners paid the overdue water bill before service was disconnected. We also partnered with another community organization that helped cover his mortgage, allowing his family to remain safely housed while working toward long-term stability.

After receiving help, he shared:

"I will highly recommend Qualified Listeners... My family and I really appreciate you helping. I don't know what we would have done without you."

🇺🇸 2026 Achievements | January-June 🇺🇸

Every mile driven, every listening session, every volunteer hour, and every mission completed represents a veteran or military family who received support when they needed it most.

So far in 2026, Qualified Listeners has completed 651 missions, provided 340 listening sessions, driven 12,529 miles, and welcomed 68 new people into our community. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping ensure that veterans and their families receive the care, compassion, and resources they deserve.

As the demand for our services continues to grow, so does the need for community support. Every donation helps provide transportation to medical appointments, listening sessions, emergency assistance, and other critical resources for veterans and their families.

📢 Office Closure Notice📢

Qualified Listeners will be closed on Friday, July 31.
