Have you RSVP’d for Day of Service yet?

We will be assembling self care kits for distribution to women in need in support of YWCA Crabtree Corner and we need your help!

We will be collecting donations for and assembling this kits for women experiencing homelessness, substance use issues, poverty, violence, poor health, or other challenges in the Downtown Eastside. Self Care Kits are distributed daily at YWCA Crabtree Corner.

Can’t attend to help assemble? That’s ok! You can still support this program by donating to help us purchase kit items.

Date: Sunday, October 18
Time: 1-3pm
Location: UBC Chapter Room

Our online bookclub meet this Sunday, September 6th! DM us for the Zoom link or head to vancouverthetas.com to RSVP.

Our August theme is Small-Town Secrets, and you can choose from a variety of mediums to participate.

- Read “Searching for Terry Punchout” by Tyler Hellard,
- Watch “Mystic River” (2003),
- Listen to “True Crime” podcast, episode on small-town dynamics,
- View “Nighthawks” by Edward Hopper, or
- Enjoy the song “Small Town” by John Mellencamp

And even if you don’t have time to do any of the above - you’re still welcome to join us!!

Book club is open to all alumnae (dues and non paying dues members) and collegiates.

Business has been concluded, ritual observed, and I got my chair photo 😉

Some wonderful ideas were shared that I am excited to bring back to our local chapter and we’ve got some plans brewing with UBC KAPPA ALPHA THETA | ΚΑΘ 💛🖤

That’s a wrap on day one of Grand Convention! And no better way to end it than with our Canadian sisters 🍁

As a delegate, today was spent participating in ritual, attending district meetings, representing Vancouver during the first business session, and learning from the incredible Kim Lear ✨
