We will be there! Will you?

🏴‍☠️ Raise the Colors… We've renamed the ship.

Listening to you, the Jeeping community, and looking toward the future, we're proud to introduce our new identity:

OBX Jeep Mutiny

OBX Jeep Mutiny changed its name from OBX Jeep Invasion to make it clear that we are not associated with any other "Invasion" gathering. We are a uniquely Outer Banks event — and we contribute all net proceeds to Outer Banks charities.

While our name has changed, our mission remains the same:

⚓ Bringing Jeep enthusiasts together in the beautiful Outer Banks.

⚓ Creating unforgettable experiences and lasting friendships.

⚓ Supporting the local communities and charities that make the Outer Banks such a special place.

This new name reflects the adventurous spirit and camaraderie that have always defined the event and the Jeeping community.

So gather your crew, hoist the flag, and prepare for another unforgettable year.

🏴‍☠️ Welcome to OBX Jeep Mutiny.
Same Outer Banks spirit. New name. Same commitment to community.

❤️ Community Support Needed ❤️

Our KCJC family has an opportunity to help one of our own.

A local Lugoff-Elgin single mom, who has been a supporter and friend of KCJC since the very beginning, is starting over and rebuilding her home from scratch. Thankfully, she and her children are now safely settled into an apartment, but they are in need of many everyday essentials.

The children are ages 8, 7, 5, 3, and 1.

Items currently needed include:

🛏️ Furniture & Household Items
• Beds and bedding
• Dressers
• Kitchen table and chairs
• Area rug
• End tables and lamps
• Curtains or window coverings

🍳 Kitchen Essentials
• Pots and pans
• Cooking utensils
• Basic kitchen supplies

🧻 Household Necessities
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Trash bags
• Cleaning supplies
• Toiletries

👶 Children’s Needs
• Diapers (Millie Moon, Size 5)
• Sensitive wipes
• Kids’ socks

She has already received a donated living room set, which is a huge help!

Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will make a real difference for this family.

If you have items to donate, Erik or Julia are happy to coordinate pickup and delivery. We can even bring a trailer for furniture or larger items.

Thank you for helping us show what this community is all about. Please share!!

Well, I promised an update, so here we go...

Since Tuesday, I've been on quite the emotional roller coaster trying to find my next Jeep.

Four dealerships later, I've experienced a few near misses, some unexpected twists, and more than a couple of head scratching moments. It's definitely been a journey.

That said, I'd rather focus on the positive than dwell on the frustrations.

So tell me, who's been your go to person or dealership during the Jeep buying process? I'd love to hear about the people and businesses you've trusted and had great experiences with.

At the end of the day, it's "just" a Jeep, but anyone who's been through the process knows it can feel like a much bigger adventure.

For now, I'm stepping away from the Jeep hunt for the evening. Tomorrow is a fresh start, and I'll jump back into it with a clearer mind.

Thank you all for the recommendations, messages, and support. I'll post what happens next because...who know where this is going to go. Jesus take the wheel, cus ya girl is fried! 💜✨💙

Hey there, this is Jules, founder of KCJC and usually the person behind all the updates, event chaos, and Jeep content you see on this page.

Six years ago, my husband and I left Detroit and moved to South Carolina… lets just say making friends as an adult is weird. It’s basically just awkwardly existing in public until someone decides they like you enough to keep you around.

Then in 2023, I got my first Jeep and found my people!
One Jeep somehow turned into trail rides, friendships, charity events, late night parking lot hangs, community support, and eventually KCJC.

This past week I shared how life decided to throw a pretty major curveball at me. I was involved in a significant accident that cracked the frame, deployed the airbags, and officially totaled Winnie the We**ie Wrangler.

And honestly? Losing Winnie sucks. But what’s been on my mind most is how thankful I am I was in my Jeep! I have no doubt that the safety features and solid build is what allowed me to walk away with minor injuries.

So now begins a whole new adventure, replacing Winnie, shopping, rebuilding, reimagining, and of course, I’m bringing all of you with me for the chaos, the search, the upgrades, and whatever comes next.
