We’re here, we’re listening, and we truly appreciate the feedback our members continue to share with us.

At last night’s social, members had the opportunity to anonymously complete our end-of-year survey and share their thoughts, experiences, and ideas with the Executive Board. We value this feedback deeply, as it helps us better understand our community and where we can continue to grow.

Here’s a shortened snapshot of some of the survey responses we received. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and help shape the future of OESC!

We’ve seen a few recurring questions lately, so we wanted to create a quick FAQ series to help provide clarity and insight into how OESC operates, why certain decisions are made, and how we continue working to support our members and community.

Here, we’ll cover topics like:
✨ Officer spouses and membership eligibility
✨ Why member-only shopping dates are limited
✨ How thrift store member discounts work
✨ Why RSVPs are required for events
✨ Why some socials may have additional costs
✨ Food options and protein availability at socials
✨ Why we don’t host more family-focused events

As a fully volunteer-run organization, we do our best with the time, resources, and support we have available to create meaningful experiences for our members and community. We hope these posts help give a little more context and bring some understanding to the behind-the-scenes of what we do.

If you ever have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to send us a message, email us at [email protected], or drop your question in the comments — we’re always happy to help however we can. 💙

✨💐Social Recap💐✨

We wrapped up our final social of the 25/26 board year with a Bloom Bar , and it was a hit with everyone who attended!

Guests were able to create and take home their own curated flower bouquets. It just so happened to fall in line with Military Spouse Appreciation Day and Mother’s Day, so it was the perfect win-win for spouses and mothers alike.

Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout this board year and helped make our socials so memorable. We hope you decide to join us again as a member next year!
