It’s here. And this one takes me back.⁣

At sixteen, I was a young sailor with a serious fear of heights. Then, one stormy day on Lake Erie, I found myself 25 feet above the water, terrified and stuck.⁣
⁣
At the time, I thought I had been betrayed.⁣
⁣
Decades later, I understand that moment very differently.⁣
⁣
It was one of my first profound experiences with personal power, self-trust, and discovering that I was capable while terrified.⁣
⁣
𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞.⁣

But even more powerful was what happened years later:⁣
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝.⁣
