1% Day

1% Day Celebrate those with fine and gross motor difficulties who have overcome the odds and regained the Power to Move!

Brock was able to regain the power to move through injury recovery training with Mike Barwis and his team. In honor of his achievements, those of his fellow 1%-ers

, and First Steppers, the First Step Foundation holds 1% Day annually. On September 12, 2015, the day of this year’s University of Michigan Football home opener and the 5 year anniversary of Brock’s inspiring walk to midfield, First Step Foundation, First Steppers, friends, and supporters will celebrate the Power to Move. We ask you to become part of the First Step Team by buying and representing with our t-shirt, donating to our Crowdrise fund, and spreading the word on social media! Getting involved with 1% Day helps the First Step Foundation, a 501 (c)(3).
