Every time a Muslim player drops into Sujood on the world’s biggest stage, 1.8 billion people see themselves reflected back.

This World Cup has shown that faith doesn’t disappear under pressure.

To every Muslim athlete carrying their identity with them onto that pitch: we see you, we’re cheering for you, and your presence matters more than you know.

Disclaimer: This is a non-exhaustive list of players and moments. There are countless Muslim athletes representing their faith with courage and grace across every match, every nation, every game.

The World Cup is here, but so is the hate.

Football belongs to immigrants. It belongs to Muslim communities, to African nations, to the people the policy is trying to push out.

Watch the games, and cheer loud for the players who fought just to get through the door.

Summer doesn’t come with a mute button.

While school hallways go quiet, phones stay on — and for far too many Muslim and BAMEMSA students, the harassment doesn’t pause. It just moves with them.

Your matcha latte, ube cake, chai, and pandan dessert didn’t start in a café — they started in communities that still face discrimination for the very cultures that flavor your feed. Loving a culture’s food isn’t the same as protecting its people.

As AAPI Heritage month comes to a close, we encourage you to learn more about the roots of your flavors, spread awareness, and appreciate their origins.

Bullying doesn’t end when the school day does and for too many students, it feels like it never ends at all.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re looking beyond the headlines and into what hate and discrimination actually do to a young person’s mind.

We’re calling on schools, parents, and policymakers to treat the mental health impact of bullying and discrimination as the public health crisis it is.
