Over 900 young ladies and gentlemen from colleges, senior high schools, and basic schools gathered in their numbers to acquire knowledge that will guide their future decisions.

Participants were taken through insightful and impactful sessions by our speakers on important topics such as mental health, abortion, drug abuse, among others. These discussions were aimed at empowering young people with the right information to make informed choices.

History was made, it was the ahaa moment last weekend, the 21st Day of March, 2026!
🎉 The Biology of the Girl Child Summit 2.0 lit up Bia Lamplighter College of Education in Essam-Debiso Western North Region! 🔥

Under the theme 'Educate, Empower, Elevate: A Summit for the Modern Ghanaian Girl. GIMAT volunteer network in partnership with the National Youth Authority Western North, brought 900 attendees together for a powerful experience (yes, 1% of them were males).

Benefiting schools:
1. Bia Lamplighter Girls' School
2. Bia Lamplighter Academy
3. Crown Bliss Montessori School
4. Debiso JHS C
5. Word of Faith Academy
6. Bia Lamplighter College of Education

Wonderful discussions on critical issues affecting our girls:
🚫 Abortion (24% of girls in the district, an alarming rate 💔)
🧘‍♀️ Mental Health
🚫 Drug Abuse
❤️‍🩹 Negative Relationships

Specialists, experts, and professionals empowered attendees with knowledge and skills to navigate these challenges. 🙌
