Just a reminder that our next meeting is on Tuesday. Join us for our WI-TED(ish) evening of short talks featuring the Secret Tunnels of Baker Street, Newstead Abbey and Barwick Green, from Obscurity to Alternative National Anthem.

The theatre trip to see TOPS production of Guys and Dolls will be on Thursday 14th May. I should be able to confirm the cost on Tuesday but I think it will be somewhere in the region of £22.

A reminder that WI membership is now due.

Please remember your mug and £1 if you would like a raffle ticket. See you on Tuesday.

The next meet of Hampton WI is on Tuesday 10th February at 7.30 pm at Hampton Hub. Some of you may know Sarah Burley who is coming to tell us about her role as a Celebrant. This should be an interesting subject and an entertaining speaker. Guests are welcome, our guest fee is £4 and includes refreshments. Remember to bring your mug and £1 if you wish to buy a raffle ticket. Look forward to seeing you all.

Our first meeting of 2026 is on Tuesday, the 13th. We look forward to seeing you.
Kit and Mandy will be sharing a few crafty ideas with you.

Mandy will be demonstrating s9me of the gelli printing techniques she used to create those fabulous decorated papers we used for the Blind Date with a Book bookmarks. You can have a go too.

Kit will demonstrate some mixed media collage techniques using old postcards. You can have a go at creating your own mini artwork!

There will be plenty of opportunity to chat, laugh, drink tea and eat cake too!

Please be aware that gelli printing makes use of acrylic paint WHICH DOES NOT EASILY WASH OUT OF CLOTHES, so roll up your sleeves and pop on an apron!

Don't forget to bring your mug if you can and as always, the wonderful Gwen and Colleen will be organising the raffle, £1 per ticket.

Do bring along any friends who'd like to join in the fun, we ask visitors to pay £4, which is a good value evening out these days!

See you Tuesday.

We are looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday for our AGM.
We have a number of things to vote on: election of your committee members and your president, as well as the accounts. Before that, we will have a summary of the last year from Sally.

After the business is done, we have a chance to chat whilst we prepare for the main fundraising opportunity of the year, the Hampton Christmas Event.

For Blind Date with a Book: There are bookmarks to make, labels to write, and books to be wrapped.

For the Jigsaw in a Bag: we have 100+ bags made already! If you have jigsaws to donate or you took some kits to sew into bags, please bring them to Tuesday night's meeting.
Thank you.

We will need some help at the Christmas event, which is on Sunday 7th December. If you can spare us an hour of your time, please sign up on the rota sheet. Another thank you.

See you Tuesday.
