Join us in honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans at the 24th Annual Bastrop Memorial Day Ceremony, Monday, May 25th, 10am, Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop hosted by Red, White & Blue Veterans of Bastrop County and Bastrop High School NJROTC. Providence Funeral Home will be providing a shade tent and water will be available. Please consider bringing lawn chairs.

The Smithville Community Clinic hosts Medical Clinics & Walk-In Clinics only on Thursday’s. Our next Walk-In Medical Clinic is on Thursday, May 14th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

This clinic provides FREE medical care for uninsured adults (18+) in Bastrop, Caldwell, and Fayette Counties.

No appointment is necessary — simply stop by. Appointments are highly recommended, as walk-in patients will be seen as time allows.

🇺🇸Save the Date!!!! Our Red, White & BBQ Cook Off is scheduled to take place on May 16th at VFW Post 2527 Rockne Tx. The event includes a 1-day cook-off with a special Kids Cook entry, offering a chance for friends and family to come together and compete for cash and prizes.

Join us for a VIRTUAL Veterans Town Hall Thursday, May 21 from 6-7 p.m. AVAHCS will dial out to our Veterans to join via phone or Veterans can join us via Facebook Live. AVAHCS leadership will provide valuable information and will be ready to answer your questions! May is Mental Health Awareness Month and our topics will include our Behavioral Health services.
