Gather friends and family, make a table or two and come for a great night out to support 3 of our youth make their dream of attending the World Scout Jamboree on Poland a reality.
We have some amazing prizes, games, raffles and, of course, trivia.

Our Trivia Night is just around the corner and we’d love your support!

Grab your friends, family, workmates — whoever you think would make the ultimate trivia team — and join us for a fun night out. There’ll be plenty of laughs, great questions, and lots of chances to win prizes along the way.

Every ticket helps support our Youth Members in their dream of attending the World Scout Jamboree in Poland, so it really does make a difference just by coming along.

MULCH NEEDED

We are looking for a truckload of mulch (any quality will do) for our working bee this coming weekend.

Our usual donator isn't available and we have exhausted our in-house contacts.

We will happily pay for delivery if the mulch could possibly be donated. In return we will advertise your business in our newsletter that circulates through our 100+ families, as well as on our social media.

🎉 END OF YEAR PARTY – TONIGHT! 🎉
We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who has booked! Here’s everything you need to know for a smooth and fun night:

🕠 5.45pm arrival
🎩 6.00pm – Tim the Magician kicks off the show!
🍽️ Dinner provided – BYO drink bottles
🚫 NO outside food

📍 Please check in on arrival to collect your wristbands for dinner.
🪑 BYO chair or picnic blanket
🧭 All youth in full uniform – neatly rolled scarves and badges sewn on.
👨‍👩‍👧 A parent/guardian must attend and stay for the entire event.

The Scouting community is heavy-hearted with the passing of Bob Taylor.

He believed in causes and would stand up for those he believed in. NWSSG held a special place in his heart he would say when he visited over the years, and along with Stacey & Colin, he believed in us to loudly support us in getting our beautiful hall.

Just as he held us, we will forever hold a special place for him.
He was dedicated, warm and kind and a gentleman to all.

Celebrated our Annual Reports And Presentation night at Frolicz Family Hub with 2 peak awards- a Grey Wolf and an Australian Scout Award.
Had the State Commisioner Scouts attend to present a State Scarf to one of our Scouts who has been accepted onto the State Scout Council.
Cassandra Fernando came and surprised us with literally a BIG cheque for a grant we applied for!

Thanked our Adult Supporters and Contributors, continued gratitude for our amazing Committee, and 13 Leaders who are the epitome of Scouting.

Today, August 1st, sees us commemorating the first Scout camp on Brownsea Island on this day in 1907. All Scouters around the world wear their scarves with pride to pay homage to the birth of Scouting all those years ago.

Today is also the day Scouts Australia announces awards fr adult members who have contributed above and beyond.

We are very fortunate to have had two of our Adult Supporters receive Special Service Awards, and our Group Leader/Cub Scout Leader receive the Silver Wattle Award.

What a weekend two of our sections had!

Venturers attended Winter Gathering, a statewide Venturer camp full of activites day and night at Anglesea.

Our Friday Cubs spent the wekeend in Bendigo, visiting the mine, talking tram, military museum, Discovery Centre and the Cathedral.

Both sections didn't let the weather bother them and everyone embraced the
adventures.

So much Scouting, so little time!

We've had our youngest Joeys go on their first camp in readiness for their state camp 'Kangaree' coming up in September.

Our Cubs have hiked, done star gazing, had a Survival skills day and dug for dinosaurs.

Scouts have had weekend hike competitions, raced cars, spent a week at the snow and escaped from escape rooms.

Venturers have had a night at a mock casino, scavenger hunt at Casey Central, campfire and Maccas in pjs.
