Yuba Area Bicycle Advocates - YABA. The Yuba Area Bicycle Advocates organization was created to promote the use of bicycles throughout the Yuba & Sutter communities.

Promotion includes advocating for improvments in infrastructure, safety and bicycle facilities. Yuba Area Bicycle Advocates are way more than a bike club. We are staffed with planning, engineering, and management professionals who are dedicated to increasing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure projects in the Yuba-Sutter region to induce smarter zoning and development for a healthier and more vibrant work-live community. We believe collaboration between local NGO's (Non-government organizations) and our local planning, public works, and community development departments to help get funding and get Active Transportation Program (ATP) infrastructure changes.

Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets or donated to our very first fundraiser. The bicycle raffle was a great success and funds raised help support efforts to create safe and efficient bicycling infrastructure in the Yuba-Sutter area. YABA is very appreciative to New Belgium Brewing who provided a custom bicycle from Fairdale Bikes and thanks to Vans Bicycle Center for getting the bicycle ready for the raffle. A BIG Congratulations to our winner Janea Morris, We hope she enjoys the many miles of riding ahead. Thanks to Officer DeNeef of Yuba City Police Department for pulling the winning raffle ticket.
