The Augusta German Shepherd Dog Club was re-established in 1992 by a core group of serious fanciers, many of whom are still the foundation of the club today.
The club promotes the best qualities of the GSD, encourages responsible pet ownership and offers mentoring, training assistance and opportunities for GSD owners to be introduced to and participate in a variety of dog sports. The club holds specialty shows, obedience and rally trials each year and enjoys social outings as well - with and without dogs.
