The Bermuda Alumnae Chapter stands proudly on the rich legacy of our twenty-two illustrious and courageous Founders.

As members of the Sensational South Atlantic Region, we embrace “Sincere Sisterhood, Significant Scholarship, and Stellar Service.” With about fifty Deltas on the Island, we represent educators, lawyers, accountants, social workers, entrepreneurs, administrators, actuaries, bankers, politicians, artists, nurses, and much, much more. In addition to conducting Delta programs and projects, chapter m

embers channel their community spirit into active roles in other organizations, ranging from Amnesty International, Bermuda Girl Guides Association, Bermuda Nurses Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kiwanis, St. John’s Ambulance Brigade, YouthNet, Bermuda Sloop Foundation, and many more. We continually strive to uphold the principles of sisterhood, scholarship and service as the cornerstones of our existence, and serve our community with pride and dedication.

This morning we kicked off a weekend of service. In honour of the 20th National President, Dr. Bertha Maxwell-Roddey Day of Service, the Bermuda Alumnae Chapter is proud to have donated books written by Bermudian author Nadia Aguiar to Dellwood Middle School, Sandys Middle School and the Whitney Institute.

Representing the chapter in making these presentations are members of the Membership Services Committee, alongside Chapter President Soror Shawnette Smith.

We encourage all Sorors to find your own small act of service today in honour of Soror Maxwell-Roddey and in keeping with our enduring commitment to public service and community engagement.

Service is at the heart of who we are. Let’s show up for our community!
