It's Doug's final call but my .02 is that it'll be frocks and forage caps due to temps and the wind. If you'll be carrying colors best prepare yourself!!! Check and double check your kit!!! The Franklin 162nd reenactment needs you and your repeater this October.

We have been tasked by the Federal commander with forming a repeater battalion for the 162nd Franklin Campaign this coming October 4-6.

It is our goal to form a mini-battalion armed heavily with repeaters.

Our impression will be the 65th Indiana, which saw heavy action at Franklin.

Your service is coveted and humbly requested.

We will register as the 66th Illinois just for administrative purposes.

In March the OVCWA collaborated with the Delphi Opera House to recreate the first event ever held there 160 yrs ago. Members of the 19th US Infantry presented the colors and helped set the tone for a period evening.
