SAD POST...

Today we learned that our very first (and slightly unofficial) foster kitty, Journey has passed over the Rainbow Bridge 💔💔💔

Journey was a beautiful but very shy girl, and I had to collect her from a previous adoption that wasn't working out.

For the first couple of weeks she was here she just hid under the bed, occasionally darting out a paw to swipe at a string toy, or to fire a ping pong ball back at me.

But then I realised that she would come out for cuddles if I went in and took a 'nap', so that became our routine every evening for as long as we could manage before the Kittinnish started yowling at the door!

And when the time came, her forever family had infinite patience with her. I'll be honest, I don't think they even saw her for the first couple of visits, but they persevered with so much understanding, and so so much love.

When they finally took her home she just blossomed, and she was with them for 8 beautiful years

Thank you to all the adopters who have big enough hearts for the shy kitties, the nervous kitties, the ones who just need a little more time and love, and especially thank you to K & H for giving my gorgeous Journey her very best life ❤️🐈❤️
