In the summer of 2013 a group of 5 friends joined together to create what is known as The Folklorico Project. The Folklorico project was established to promote cultural awareness through the art of dance. It is the groups goal to not only keep their passion alive, but their culture as well by integrating traditional folk dances as well as modern pieces. The Folklorico Project, while still under co
nstruction hopes to one day form a united group that will work together with passion and dedication to continue to spread the art of the land of Mexico.
