Here’s more information about the different roles:
Set Building Crew:
From painting and artistic details to woodworking and construction, use your creative and hands on skills to bring the set to life. All work is done before the show.
Running Crew:
Our running crew works behind the scenes to keep the show moving, quickly and quietly shifting set pieces and props when needed. They may not always be seen, but their work is essential to making every scene change happen seamlessly.
Light Board Operator:
Our light board operators work from the booth alongside the stage manager to ensure every lighting cue happens at exactly the right moment.
Sound Assistant:
Our sound assistants work with the stage manager and sound designer on anything from microphones to sound effects to make sure every word is heard.
Spotlight Operator:
Our spotlight operators help bring the action into focus, following performers and key moments from the booth throughout the show.
NOTE: Students can do Set Building Crew + another position if they want to be involved in both the preparing and ex*****on of the show!
