🔵⚽️ MATCH REPORT | RACA U12 BLUES 4–0 WASHINGTON ATHLETIC YOUTH
Another dominant performance from the Blues as RACA ran out convincing 4–0 winners against Washington Athletic Youth.
RACA made the perfect start, taking an early lead when Jack Broadhead’s effort caused problems for the keeper, who couldn’t hold it, and the ball found its way in.
The Blues controlled the majority of the first half and were rewarded again when Henry Daverson added a second. At the other end, Rowan Foster produced an unbelievable save to keep Washington out and preserve the clean sheet.
RACA went into the break 2–0 ahead, although their first-half dominance could easily have produced more goals.
It was more of the same after the restart. Dominic Chilton rattled the bar early in the second half before Henry struck again for his second of the game to make it 3–0.
The fourth came after a brilliant through ball from Luke McCrorie, releasing Jack to finish and grab his second of the morning.
Full Time: RACA U12 Blues 4–0 Washington Athletic Youth 🔵⚫️🟡
⚽️ Jack Broadhead ×2
⚽️ Henry Daverson ×2
MOM Henry Daverson
A controlled and dominant display from start to finish, four goals, a clean sheet and another excellent team performance.
ONE TEAM. ONE DREAM. ONE GOAL. 💙💛
⚫️U13 got beat 3-2 last minute pen
🟡U14 Yellows lost 3-1 away to Bedlington today.
🔵U14 Blues won a very bazarre game 3-1 v last years champions.
1 down in first half and ref walked off pitch due to confrontation with their player and parents. Phill Cuthbertson aka Pierre Luige Collina stepped in to ref. Boys rallied and scored 3 without reply in second half against a very aggressive and physical opponent. Result has put us joint top of Premier.
⚪️U14’s whites lost a really close game against the top of the league side 2-1. Bailey H scoring his first goal for RACA, tremendous player of the match performance Louie K.
⚫️U14 Blacks won 3-2 today against Newcastle bluestar, taking the win with the last kick of the game, credit to U8 yellows lost today. After being 2-0 up in the first half we sadly switched off and Beamish got a game winning goal on the final whistle.
Mark Waugh as we had 0 subs and blue star battled back after being 2 goals down.
might need a new corner flag as mason ruined it sealing his hatrick 🤣
⚫️⚽ RACA U15s – Match Report
A disappointing defeat for RACA U15s against Gateshead Fell today.
The lads battled right to the end, but tired legs made it difficult as the game went on. After a hard-fought opening 25 minutes, Gateshead Fell eventually took the lead to make it 1–0.
An injury then left us with just 10 players on the pitch, and Gateshead took advantage to make it 2–0.
We hit the bar shortly after, which would have given us a huge lift, but the lads continued to battle. We had a much better second half and kept the game interesting.
Unfortunately, a penalty went against us to make it 3–0. The lads then hit the bar again before finally getting a late consolation goal after continuing to fight until the final whistle.
⚽ Goal: Noah I
🎯 Assist: Harry P
Not the result we wanted, but credit to the lads for never giving up and continuing to battle right until the end. 💪
🔎 We are still looking for 1 or 2 experienced players to join the group. If you’re interested, please get in touch.
🟣U16 girls lost 6-1 to a very strong Felling Magpies today. Can’t deny they were the better team in the first half and played some very good football and maximised on the few mistakes we made to go in at half time with a strong 5-1 lead. Our second half performance was much better and the girls tightened things up and were unlucky to have a goal disallowed as we equalled their performance with a good back and forth game for the second half.
Overall we have learned and will come back stronger again but as a well established top premier team we can still hold our heads high
🔵U17’s won a close game 4-2 against Washington
