The Elks have a motto for our flying of the American Flag. It’s called the “Elkdom’s Heart for America”. The American flag represents our “Heart”.
Macon Elks Lodge #999 Veterans Committee has the pleasure to present a Certificate of Honor to local businesses for flying the flag 24/7 while keeping it illuminated at night, half mass as needed to honor and in full flight proudly showing their Americanism and Patriotism. This year we honored 2 local businesses for their display.
First, POET Bioprocessing with special recognition to Bob Bogeart, Planner/Scheduler at POET who proudly sees over their flag.
And Secondly, MA Bank, with special recognition to Bill Whisenand who proudly sees over their flag.
