What started as a major problem at our Community Hall became an incredible example of community teamwork.
After nearly three months without mowing, the grass was so high and heavy that our regular equipment simply couldn't handle it. Enter this outstanding crew of firefighters from the Slave Lake forest area!!
Over two days, they rolled up their sleeves and completely transformed the grounds. They cut, raked, cleaned, and restored the property so it can now be maintained with our regular mowers.
Their hard work, teamwork, and willingness to help made all the difference.
We often think of firefighters as heroes when emergencies happen, but this is a wonderful reminder that they also serve their communities in countless other ways.
Thank you for stepping up when we needed help. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did.
👏 Let's fill the comments with thanks for these amazing community champions!
