We are proud to celebrate Isaiah G. Timothy, Program Manager, successful completion of his Masters in Development Studies, fully funded by LIPACE under our Capacity Building Initiative. Isaiah will soon return to Liberia from the Independent University of Kigali (ULK), bringing valuable skills and insights.

This achievement embodies LIPACE’s core value: true empowerment is about what we do with people, not for them. We look forward to Isaiah harnessing his new expertise to help us advance data-driven approaches, improve student achievement, and deliver quality education for all.

Meet one of our interns, Sarah P. Shamue.

She was placed at the Liberia Institute for the Promotion of Academic Excellence (LIPACE) as a Project Assistant through the National Cadet Program, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and supported by UNDP.

In this role, she will use her experience as an Enumerator and her skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies on various data collection projects.

This position will also provide her with hands-on experience in project coordination and data analysis while receiving professional mentorship.

Meet our Intern, Varfley M. Kromah.

He was selected as one of the successful candidates for the National Cadet Program, a government initiative designed to provide job exposure and career mentorship to the youth of Liberia.

This program, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and supported by UNDP, placed him at the Liberia Institute for the Promotion of Academic Excellence (LIPACE) as a Program Assistant. In this role, he will use his skills in communication, computer proficiency, and adaptability to contribute to program implementation.

He will also receive mentorship in key project management and development areas, gaining valuable professional experience.
