2025 Student Summer Employment Program - Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities (OEEPD)

The Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities (OEEPD) is pleased to announce the launch of its Student Summer Employment Program (SSEP) for 2025. The OEEPD would like to invite eligible and interested students to be considered for this valuable initiative.

Please email your expression of interest to [email protected] by the deadline of May 9, 2025. Please include “SSEP 2025” in the Subject line.

Placements are typically 8 weeks and are anticipated to start on June 30, 2025 and end on August 22, 2025.

To be eligible for this program, students must:

Self-identify as a person with a disability (medical documentation is not necessary)
Currently be attending a post-secondary educational institution with intent to return in the Fall
Be enrolled to attend a post-secondary educational institution in the Fall

If interested, students must:
Register with OEEPD. If not already a client, click here to become one today!
Submit an updated resume
Provide proof of enrollment with a post-secondary institution or program for this fall (ex: transcript from the spring semester or a letter of intent)
