Join us for Week 3 of our Summer Adventure Series at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum:

Turtle Tracks & Ocean Secrets

Kids will dive into the fascinating world of sea turtles and coastal conservation with a special visit from the Flagler Turtle Patrol. They’ll learn how volunteers monitor nesting activity, identify turtle tracks, and help protect these incredible ocean travelers right here on our beaches.

The highlight of the adventure? Each child will create their own sea turtle conservation bracelet to take home—using colors that represent the ocean, nesting beaches, and turtle safety! 🐢✨

This hands-on program is perfect for curious kids who love animals, the ocean, and discovering the hidden life of our shoreline.

From our friends just south of us….

In just one morning of turtle patrol, 21 balloons were picked up off a 4 mile stretch of beach!

A balloon release may look beautiful for a moment, but the impact on wildlife can last for years. 🎈 Wildlife often mistake balloon pieces for food, which can cause serious injury or death, and ribbons can entangle birds, turtles, and other animals.
