Friends of Fryston Woods Community Group dedicated to the improvement of woodland in Airedale, Fryston, Ferry Fryston and Townville

Over the best part of a decade Friends of Fryston Woods has strived to improve the woodlands around the Eastern side of Castleford, and encourage access to those woods. In conjunction with Castleford Heritage Trust the Friends group works with a Woodland Access Ranger to deliver community events, practical work in the woods, improvements to access and school sessions in Fryston Woods.
