For over 109 years, fundraising through raffles has helped support opportunities at Institute, Federation, and National level, keeping activities and experiences accessible for members across Scotland.

The National Raffle, held every three years, is one of the ways we help sustain the wider SWI community, while also offering the chance to win wonderful prizes kindly donated by supportive businesses from across Scotland.

Every ticket bought helps support opportunities for members to meet, learn, and take part, wherever they choose to enjoy their SWI membership.

An appeal for as many entries as possible for a jar of marmalade and a 6” Dundee cake to be judged at Ayrshire Federation SWI Quarterly meeting held in Alloway church hall this Saturday 30/5/26.
Winners go forward to national competition in Dundee at the SWI “Gathering”

T Gaiety Theatre murder mystery night due to be held in Sorn Village hall on Friday 6th is cancelled. Sorry about this late cancellation but due to operational difficulties the committee has decided to cancel this show. We hope to have future shows from the Gaiety later in the year.

Regretfully, the Gaiety Theatre have cancelled next weeks planned ‘Short Attention Span’ play due to be at Sorn Village Hall on 16th. All the performances for the week beginning 14th have been cancelled. Apologies from Sorn Village Hall. Get in touch with Gaiety for refunds.

The Gaiety present another “Short Attention Span” play in Sorn Village Hall on 16th April at 7.30. Tickets on line from The Gaiety please but if you forget we’ll take ticket money at the door.
Bring your own bottle and snacks and if I’ve any cake left you might get some of that. Previous nights have been very good entertainment and I’m sure this will be the same.
