June 13, 2026 It looks like this Saturday is going to be a decent day, storms not coming until that night. So if you are not attending one of the many happenings about town come by and check us out at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary. We will be carving and burning. Plus there are many sights to see, trails to walk and a hummingbird porch to sit upon and watch for our feathered friends. So stop by, say hello, check out our art and the Sanctuary. Mr. Sandy loves to talk about all things nature and we love having you check out our art.

Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Once again the Northland Woodcarvers and Woodburners will be out at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary, carving and burning. According to the weather folks it is supposed to be a nice day out there. Come by and walk the trails and stop in and say hello, we will be happy to visit with you all.

May 27, 2026 we will be back out at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary from 10 am until 2 pm. As you can see from the photo album of May 9, 2026 there are many interesting things to see. Come by and check us and the Nature Sanctuary out. We always have a good time. Hope to see you there.

Just a reminder the Northland Woodcarvers and burners will be at Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary this Saturday May 9, 2026 from 10:00 until 2:00, come by and say hi.

Reminder - As you know, we are no longer carving at the church. We have moved everything to Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary. We will resume meetings on March 14, 2026. We meet on the second Saturday of each month, from 10 - 2. We are also planning to add a couple Wednesday meetings to each month. Will discuss at the March meeting.
I have received numerous messages from people interested in woodcarving. You are all welcome to come join us. We have tools to loan you during the meeting, and wood to get you started. Remember everyone started as a beginner. Look forward to seeing everyone!

Look who is hanging out at the bird / deer feeder. It is weight balance just to keep squirrels out otherwise everyone else can feed! Too funny.
