🐉🐲🚣‍♀️ The women of had another fantastic and action-packed evening at our 2nd dragon boating session of the year!

It was a wonderful way to spend time together, stay active, and enjoy plenty of fun and laughter with friends. We had a fantastic experience out on the River Barrow with the Carlow Dragon Boat Club, working together as a team and enjoying every minute on the water.

A huge thank you to Carlow Dragon Boat Club for giving us this amazing opportunity and making us feel so welcome.
We truly appreciate your support and encouragement.

It was a great experience, and we will definitely be back again!

🎨 Decoupage Watering Cans with Connie
Con's creations craft

Our 3rd decoupage session with the talented Connie was another enjoyable and creative lessons. This time, the women of the Women's Shed explored the art of decorating watering cans, learning new techniques and building on the skills developed during previous workshops.

The room was full of creativity, enthusiasm, and learning, with everyone producing beautiful finished pieces to be proud of. Well done to all who took part and embraced the challenge with such enthusiasm.

A special thank you to Connie for all her guidance, patience, and support throughout the class. It is always a wonderful experience to learn from you, and we truly appreciate you sharing your creativity and expertise with us.

🍾Our 2nd decoupage session was another wonderful and inspiring evening with the talented Constance Seymour from Con's creations craft. Step by step, the women of the Women's Shed are happily developing new decoupage skills, this time learning the beautiful art of bottle decoupage.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from you and for sharing your creativity and expertise with us.

It was fun way to spend an evening exercising with friends ❤️
We had a very enjoyable experience cruising down the river Barrow with Carlow Dragon Boat Club.

A sincere thank you to Linda Cummins from Árlah Hair Studio for her informative and insightful talk on hair loss last night. Linda shared valuable information about the many causes of hair thinning and hair loss, particularly the changes that can occur as we age, and offered practical advice and reassurance to those experiencing these issues.

Linda also explained that grants are available to help cover the cost of hair loss treatments for eligible individuals. She has all the necessary paperwork and can assist with the application process. An initial consultation is free of charge, and anyone experiencing hair thinning or hair loss is encouraged to get in touch to explore the supports and treatment options available to them.

🌺🌸🎨🖌This morning we had our final session with Athena Made . We would like to say a big thank you to Athena for a fantastic series of art classes over the past few weeks. Your patient, step-by-step approach made each session enjoyable and easy to follow, helping everyone develop new skills and enjoy the creative process.

It has been wonderful to see our members grow in confidence with every class. The progress and artwork produced have been amazing, and everyone should be proud of what they have achieved.

A special thank you also to Creative Ireland for funding this programme and making these classes possible. Your support has given our members the opportunity to learn, create, and connect through art.

Thank you again, Athena, for sharing your talent and enthusiasm with us. We have loved every minute of it!
