It is with very heavy hearts that we post this. The Board of Directors regret to inform that one of our board members, Michele Roman (Gene's sister), has passed away. Michele has been a foundation volunteer since our inception and has donated countless hours to support our mission of helping cancer patients. Michele was born on March 13, 1946 and went to live with Jesus on February 16, 2026. We will definitely miss her, but take comfort in knowing that she is now wrapped in God's loving arms. Rest in peace, Michele. We love you.

October is Breast Cancer awareness month. So far in October alone, 39% of the people we have helped had breast cancer. Please, get your mammograms, do self-examinations, follow your doctor's suggestions to prevent breast cancer.

Twenty-one years ago, Gene went to heaven to live with Jesus. Seems like forever...seems like yesterday. His legacy, The Gene Roman Family Foundation, has helped over 1000 individual cancer patients since its inception in 2003. We love you, Gene, and are grateful for your vision to help others in the midst of your own battle.

Happy Birthday in Heaven to our founder, Gene Roman. Thanks to his vision, we have been able to help OVER 1000 cancer patients since our inception in 2003! What a fantastic tribute to the man he was - kind, generous, always willing to help anyone who needed help. Today would have been his 78th birthday. Gone too soon, 21 years ago, but his legacy lives on. We love you, Gene, and are grateful for your foundation.
