Molly needs a home!

Breed: Terrier / Lab Mix
Age: 1 year
Weight: 55lbs
Height: 21” at the withers
Energy Level: Medium to High
Location: Richmond, VA
Good with people: Friendly overall but can be uninterested/aloof with strangers.
Good with dogs: Very! Must have at least 1 other playful dog in the home!
Good with cats: Unknown
Good with small animals: In cages, yes. Has been introduced to rabbits, fish and hedgehogs. Shows too much interest outside of cages.
Good with kids: Yes ages 10+ but aloof at first. No direct interaction with younger kids but doesn’t seem to mind them.
Vet work: Spayed, fully vaccinated and on monthly preventatives.

Molly was an owner surrender as she wasn’t the type of dog they thought they were adopting. They were told she was a German Shepherd/Malamute cross and she very much is not! Molly is an active puppy who needs an owner and another family dog that like to do stuff together. She has been working on basic manners, impulse control and house breaking and would benefit from continued training. She is crate trained, rides fine in the car and knows sit.

Molly does have a few naughty behaviors we are working on. If left in the yard unattended she will dig holes and sometimes she doesn’t want to come inside from playing. It’s a work in progress and she’s getting there!

If you have questions or are interested in meeting Molly please email easternhdr(at)gmail(dot)com.
