Today we submitted our application for the Creative Activist Program. We are hopeful for the support of Creative Visions Foundation, an organization that encourages creative activists.

This organization was founded in the memory of Dan Eldon, a young Reuters photojournalist killed in Somalia in 1993. Dan lived more fully in his 23 years than most people do in a life time. He's an inspiration. http://vimeo.com/5590433

Dan Eldon was an artist and photojournalist who grew up in Kenya and was one of the first to bear witness to the famine in Somalia. He was killed on assignment in 1993 when he was only 22-years-old. Dan left behind 17 artistic journals in which he documented…
