New workshop with Artistic Director Paul Hunter announced!

“Commedia contains the essentials of life, trying to eat, trying to procreate and trying desperately to avoid death” Jacques Lecoq

As a form, it has had a huge impact on the work of Told by an Idiot, including our new co-production The Three Musketeers with the RSC. We are not attempting to rediscover a historic tradition but will be exploring rhythm, timing, building a lazzi, physical virtuosity and staying in the s**t.

🗓️ Mon 13 - Tues 14 July (10:30am-5pm)
📍 Unicorn Theatre, London Bridge
⭐️Free bursary places and early-bird tickets available

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming co-production with Royal Shakespeare Company THE THREE MUSKETEERS...

“In 1973 my father took me to the Selly Oak Odeon in B'ham to see Richard Lesters movie 'The Three Musketeers'. It left a big impression on me, and I am delighted that 53 years later Told by an Idiot will reinvent this classic tale at the RST this Christmas. This raucously funny, romantic adventure yarn has something for everyone, and over the festive period we look forward to entertaining families in the style that only live theatre can do.

‘One for all, and all for one!’"
