Ghoghanj NGO

Ghoghanj NGO Ghoghanj is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Yerevan, Armenia. Some of our children have social, behavioral or physical disabilities.

Our goal is to provide the proper support and guidance children need to excel in school, and become self-confident and respectful young adults. We mentor more than 110 "At-Risk" students who come from hardworking single parent households or from socially dysfunctional families. Our services include psychological and social development support, homework assistance, English classes, art programs, an

d computer classes for our students. Our staff is mainly comprised of professional teachers, psychologists and artists who volunteer their time and expertise for Armenia's "At-Risk" children, helping them grow and prosper during their school-age years. We work with local schools to identify children and families who would benefit from our services. Ghoghanj currently receives Organizational support from Alexander R.E. & Edith Faesch (Switzerland) and The Paros Foundation (Berkeley, CA.)
